| Jabiru USA Flight Center's
J Series Builder Education seminars can put you in the left
seat, flying away in your own Jabiru J400 in no more than
four weeks of class time. Here's how it works:
Attend two weeks of build
class and see how the structure of your J Series Jabiru
comes together. Receive hands on training in addition to
class work in composite construction and assembly. At the
end of the week your J series fuselage will be mostly
finished structurally from the firewall back. See below for
a listing of components scheduled to be completed during the
first week's class. The first week will include 40 hours of
instruction with optional evening extra credit study periods
available.
Attend a second week of
class to install the engine, fit cowls, rig wings and tail
controls, and fit fairings. Some of the interior finish may
be completed in the second week.
At this point, Jabiru USA Sport Aircraft will paint the
structurally complete airplane and (optional) finish
installation of the interior. All remaining instruments
would be wired and the panel completed in our shop.
Finally, attend a third and
forth week of class for final assembly of the painted
airframe, final hookups of fuel system, controls, and
instruments, installation of prop and spinner, and
installation of all remaining fairings. Weight & balance
will be calculated for the completed plane. Toward the end
of the forth week, transition flight training and taxi work
would commence. Arrangements would be made for final FAA
airworthiness inspection and certification.
Fly home in an airplane
that will out fly a Cessna 172 with more load carrying
ability on less fuel. Check it
out here.

Aircraft at 800-JABIRU1 for more details.
